1. Overview

This stopwatch application supports timing for up to ten participants or vehicles, making it ideal for various sporting and competitive events. Users can measure lap times, split times, and total times separately for each participant, enhancing the tracking of individual performance metrics.

2. Operation Instructions

1. Button Operation: The operational buttons are highlighted in color for ease of use.
2. Time Recording: Recorded times appear in real-time on the display screen. To access a new record, press the Record> button; for older records, press the R> button. To clear a time record, double-tap the Clear button, and to save a time record, double-tap the Save button—note that each save will overwrite previous records. Utilize the Copy button to transfer the recorded data in CSV format to clipboard for use in applications like Numbers. Selecting a participant’s name displays their respective time record, while selecting unit distances for lap timing shows corresponding lap times.
3. Button Response Options: The application includes options for vibrational feedback, clicking sounds, and voice assistance through the designated Vibration, Click, and Voice buttons.
4. Name Modification: Names can be updated by pressing the Name or RUN button to enter LOCK mode. Select the desired name for modification and confirm with the return key; any unintentional alterations can be reversed by pressing any key other than return.
5. LOCK Mode: This feature prevents unintentional button presses. Activation occurs by pressing the Name or RUN button. To exit LOCK mode, press either the Name or LOCK button again.
6. Screen Display Options: Users can toggle between light and dark display modes using the Light or Dark buttons.
7. Cancellation Functionality: This feature allows users to undo their last button operation by pressing the Undo button immediately following an action.
8. Operation Modification Functionality: Allows users to change their last action by simultaneously using Undo and Sync buttons.
9. Add Operation Functionality: New operations can be added synchronously with previous actions through the Sync button.
10. Select Mode: This function permits simultaneous operation of multiple buttons. Activate it by pressing the Sel button, selecting desired controls, and confirming with another press of the Sel button.
11. Tapping Mode: This feature enables users to assign tapping actions to any stopwatch button. Activate tapping mode via the Tap button and assign actions accordingly. External keyboard keys A, G, and numeric keypad 0 can also serve as input options; up to ten taps can be memorized in this mode.

3. Display and Functionality

The stopwatch continuously displays lap and total times within 00:00.0 to 59:59.9 seconds, while recorded times appear from 0:00:00.0 to 9:59:59.9 hours. The Lap function tracks laps numerically from 0 to 9, with records displayed up to 99 laps on-screen. The timer resolution is set at 0.1 seconds; however, internal measurements are conducted at a higher precision level. Button activation feedback occurs upon pressing and releasing each key, similarly to native applications on Apple devices. Importantly, timekeeping continues regardless of app closure or smartphone power-off state without draining battery life during background inactivity.
